Brian Park, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology and Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR. As a former engineer for Medtronic and IBM and now a physician, he has been fulfilling his passion for combining medicine and engineering. His innovative research focuses on enhancing image-guided procedures with augmented and mixed reality. He has received numerous awards and grants for his work, including from the National Institutes of Health, Society of Interventional Radiology, and Radiological Society of North America. He obtained his MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and MD from New York University. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania.
